Showcase 2009 Programs &
Events
The
Norwich Showcase 2009
is scheduled for July 14-15, 2009, with the recruiting seminar
kicking off the event the evening prior to taking the field [July 13].

Our
Binghamton Showcase 2009
is now scheduled for August 4-5, 2009, with the
recruiting seminar kicking off the event the evening prior to taking the
field [August 3].

The
sooner we receive a nomination or you register, the sooner we can begin to
track you and your baseball progress.
We look

SKILLSHOW
Skillshow, the nation's largest producer of recruiting videos for athletes
in all sports, will again be offering their services to
attendees of College Select Showcases. Video is a very
important tool in the recruiting process and nobody does it better than Skillshow.

Criteria for Showcase admission |

 |
ELIGIBILITY --- players must be varsity players, class of 2010 or
later |
|
|
RECOMMENDATION -- you need to have a recommendation from your
high school varsity coach or pro scout. |
|
|
INVITATIONS -- will be sent out after the near year. We
will continue sending
out invites as we locate additional prospects that we feel have college
baseball potential. |
|
|
NOMINATION -- please use this form if you're not on our mailing
list. To be on the safe side, fill it out and submit it so we can
review your qualifications and add you to our list |
|
|
REGISTRATION
-- if you have
attended previously you can register now. If you have sent in a
nomination form and not been informed that you do not quality (we notify
only
those who do not qualify) then you can feel free to register. If
you do not qualify, we will notify you within 10 days or receiving the
nomination. |

get the recruiting info that you need in a great seminar---with us you
get the exposure that you need in a great venue---you play three games
with great competitive spirit---remember that the
college coaches want to see more than drills.

Our Procedure
Many have asked how we
select the players we invite to our showcases and what our procedure
is. Here is the explanation as to how we recognize players for
our invitations:
Newspaper writers update
us, we follow the players they note during the season. High school
coaches call regarding players. College Coaches alert us to
players. Players who have been with us in the past make
recommendations. Professional scouts make recommendations.
Parents of players who have been with us recommend players to us.
Our staff visit high school games and return with recommendations.
Nomination forms can be
found on our website and when sent to us are followed up on. We feel that the
process gets us the players who college coaches want to see. Hope this helps answer
